Tree Lighting at Veterans Plaza, 21st Street and Dune Drive, Avalon. “Festive Friday” at many local merchants along Dune Drive, largely from 20th to 33rd streets
TREE LIGHTING: The Atlantic Brass Band will play holiday music at Veterans Plaza from 4:-5 pm, followed by remarks from Mayor Martin Pagliughi, and the arrival of Santa Claus on an Avalon fire truck. The mayor and Santa will both light Avalon’s holiday tree, followed by Santa meeting with all children for a photo session and small presents.
FESTIVE FRIDAY: Over 40 events will take place in downtown Avalon in front of many local merchants.
