Avalon Performing Arts Council Closes Season with Motown Spectacular

AVALON – Avalon Performing Arts Council closes the summer season with a Motown Spectacular…a Salute to the great Motown Sounds featuring Linda Miller as “Ms. Diana Ross”.
Linda Miller is a multi-talented performer, singer, actress, comic and impersonator, known as an established actress with several appearances on “Law & Order”, “As the World Turns”, “Hope & Faith”, and as “Ronni Spector” with Al Pacino in David Mamet’s HBO film “Spector.” Linda is a chameleon celebrity impersonator who has performed for three United States presidents, theaters in over 10 countries and has had repeat performances at New York’s Rainbow Room, dazzling audiences everywhere she goes with her amazing vocal and physical versatility.
The evening’s entertainment will also feature emcee and vocalist Justin Hart with backup singers and dancers, “The Girls Next Door”. Dance to the Temptations, Jackson 5, Spinners and the “Marino Band”.
The concert will be held on Saturday, Sep. 27 at Avalon Community Hall located at 30th St and the beach. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. You are invited to bring your own food and beverages (ice will be provided). Tickets cost $20 and are free of charge to APAC Friends. Advance tickets sales/table reservations will be made at Community Hall, but there will also be an option to pay at the door the evening of the show.
