AVALON – On Saturday July 16th, the Avalon Historical Society is having an Open House at the History Center, 215 39th Street. There are enhanced displays and exhibits for all to see. There will be entertainment and refreshments for members and visitors. The Seven Mile Singers will perform at 10:30, and the Avalon String Band will “mummertain” at 11:00. Also featureed is the new Jr. Archaeology program for children. The Open House hours are 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. All are welcome.
