COURT HOUSE — Lauri Flemming is busy putting the finishing touches on her script “Alice’s Curious Adventures in Wonderland,” the 2013 Roseheart Productions summer children’s musical. Beginning June 5, registrations/auditions will be open to all Cape May County students, grades 2-9.
Rehearsals begin July 9, and continue for eight weeks, concluding with three performances in the Middle Township Performing Arts Center. There is a registration fee of $190 per child to cover costuming and production costs (pro-rated for families with more than one child).
“It’s very rewarding to watch these kids develop their acting skills, and grow as performers. The end product is something everyone can be proud of. It’s a different group of kids each summer, but it’s always a fun process and rewarding endeavor,” said Flemming.
Flemming also wears the hat of director, and takes a hands-on approach with all aspects the production. She admires her choreographer TJ Kuchon. “She manages to take kids with little or no experience, and make them look like they’ve been dancing for years. I also appreciate the parents who volunteer their time and work so hard all summer.”

Villas – Yep, here come those mask mandates again starting in, of course, a blue state. If there isn't a virus yet for the mask, they will find one before November 5th.
