‘Art on Asbury’ Presents Free Movie Nov. 12

OCEAN CITY –The Ocean City Fine Arts League presents free pre-screened films featuring artists and art trends every month through December 2013. Movies are show at 6:30pm at the Ocean City Public Library, located at 1735 Simpson Avenue, Ocean City, NJ. Upcoming shows include:
November 12 – “Like Water for Chocolate”
1992 – This is the story of Tita, who is forbidden by her mother to marry. Her only solace is her cooking. She magically whisks her sorrow and longings into her feasts so that all who partake experience her feelings as she does. (1 hr. 45 min.)
December 3 – “Little Women”
This film is based on Louisa May Alcott’s classicnovel about a family of women in Civil War-era New England. Susan Sarandon stars as the mother of the March sisters. Winona Ryder plays Jo. (1 hr. 59 min.)
***The date for this movie is the second Tuesday of the month because the first Tuesday is Election Day.

The Ocean City Fine Arts League is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating awareness of the arts and art community.
