‘Art on Asbury’ Dec. Show is ‘Le Petite’

OCEAN CITY — Sometimes smaller is better… The Ocean City Fine Arts League invites all artists to submit up to two entries for the Dec. Show, themed “Le Petite” competition and exhibition. Maximum size is only 20 united inches (length + width) including frame. Entry fee is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. Entries are accepted in all mediums and can reflect any theme. Entries can be dropped off Nov. 28 through Dec. 3.
There will be a “Meet The Artist” reception and awards presentation on Dec. 12 from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public and the show runs through the end of Dec.
The petite paintings make the perfect gift… For an affordable price, you can purchase a stunning work of art. So, visit the “Arts on Asbury” Gallery this holiday season and start your shopping off right with a variety of one of a kind artwork, all made by local artisans.
In addition to the Le Petite paintings on display, the gallery showcases watercolor, glass, mixed media, pottery, photography, oil and acrylic, textiles, jewelry and sculpture. You’re sure to find that unique holiday gift. Located at 608 Asbury Avenue in Ocean City, the “Art on Asbury” gallery is open 7 days a week, Mon. through Sat. from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sun. from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Closed on Thanksgiving & Christmas Day. Open on Christmas Eve, from 10am until 1pm and on New Years Day, Jan. 1, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
