Art League Calls for Artists

OCEAN CITY — The Ocean City Fine Art League invites all artists to submit up to two entries for its September show and competition. The theme of the show is “Windows. ”
Maximum size is 50 united inches (length + width). Entry fee for members is $5 and non-members $10 per entry. Entries are accepted in all mediums, oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, photography, sculpture, ceramic and mixed media.
A Best in Show first prize of $100 and ribbon will be awarded as well as Best in Category ribbons for each separate medium category.
Entries may be dropped off at the Art On Asbury Gallery located at 608 Asbury Avenue, on Fri., Aug. 27 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sat., Aug. 28 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sun. Aug. 29 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Mon. Aug. 30, 10 a.m.-5 p.m, and Tues., Aug. 31 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
This free exhibit will run through the month of September. There will be a “Meet the Artists” reception on Friday, Sept. 10 from 6 – 7:30 pm at Art on Asbury. Light refreshments will be served and the event is free and open to the public.
