Annual Holiday Spectacular Returns To The Music Pier With New Twists

OCEAN CITY – This season the Greater Ocean City Theatre Company invites you to come celebrate the most wonderful time of the year at “A Christmas Wonderland”, Ocean City’s Holiday Spectacular! The enchanting cast of professional singers and dancers will present a high energy family–oriented, song and dance tribute to the holidays, directed and choreographed by Michael Hartman. Through dazzling costumes, familiar songs, special guests, toe-tapping numbers and special effects, this extravaganza will kindle the holiday spirit in all of us as the magic of the season comes to life in a brand new musical journey through seasonal favorites! This annual tradition features a brand new set and many new songs for 2011.
Catch this family musical revue on Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m., Dec. 17 at 2:00 .m. and 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 18 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ocean City Music Pier, Moorlyn Terrace and the Boardwalk with plenty of free parking. This production is appropriate for all ages and the perfect outing for any group this season. We are offering special rates for groups of 10 people or more. This event is perfect for Student/Senior Groups, Red Hat Societies, Church Groups etc., This could be a perfect way to celebrate the holidays with your office, co-workers and friends. About the cast:
Kaitlin Becker (Cast) is thrilled to be back to Ocean City for her fourth production with OCTC! Kaitlin has her BFA from Northern Kentucky University. She has worked with numerous theatres including the York Theatre (NYC), The Wild Project (NYC), Artspower, Roxy Regional Theatre, Know Theatre of Cincinnati, Skyline Theatre Company, Boothbay Harbor Opera House and Jersey Productions. Up next, you can find her on the national tour of Seussical the Musical with Theatreworks USA.
Anastasia Bokas (Cast) is thrilled to return to OCTC after performing in CATS (Jellylorum)! Most recently, she was seen in Even Steven (Pam) with the LOL Theatre Co., staged at Walnut St. Theatre Studio 5. Other recent credits: All Shook Up (Natalie), Damn Yankees (Gloria) and CATS (Demeter). She graduated from Drexel University with a BS in Marketing and Dance.
Mark Edwards (Cast) is excited to be back with the OC Theater Company after performing the title role in The Music Man!! Professional Land Credits: Harold Hill (Music Man); Brad (Rocky Horror); Fred Casely/u.s. Billy Flynn (Chicago); among others. Sea Credits: Holland America Line – Ryndam (2009) and Inaugural Nieuw Amsterdam (2010).
Meghan Gibson (Cast) is delighted to be returning to the OCTC stage! This Somers Point native holds a BA in Theatre Performance from Wagner College and resides in NYC. Meghan has performed in regional theatres across the country as well as appearing in episodes of As the World Turns and White Collar.
Beth Koperwhats (Cast/Costume Design) is thrilled to be spreading the joy with the cast and crew of A Christmas Wonderland! Some favorite holiday memories include roasting marshmallows over the fire, making snow angels and snowmen out of pure, white, sparkly snow, and decorating the tree!
Kevin Korczynski (Cast) is happy to perform with OCTC this holiday season. He comes directly from Florida , and Meet Me in St. Louis (Lon Smith.) Favorites: The Medora Musical, Gypsy ( Tulsa ), Ragtime (Younger Brother), and two seasons of Holly Jolly Christmas.
Josh Rodriguez is thrilled to return to OCTC where he was previously seen in The Music Man and Oklahoma! Favorite credits include Cabaret, The Cherry Orchard, State Fair and Good News. Josh will soon be featured in an upcoming web series called Justice Woman.
Brian C. Veith is thrilled to be spending his holiday season here in Ocean City, NJ. He just finished working this last summer in New York’s Gateway Playhouse’s Sunset Boulevard and Sweeney Todd. Other credits include My Fair Lady (Freddy), Into the Woods (Cinderella’s Prince) and Follies (Young Whitman).
