COURT HOUSE — The Angelus Chorus completed its 2009-2010 concert season May 24 with it’s annual banquet at the Millman Center in Lower Township.
This choral group of 50 members just completed a successful concert schedule of six concerts held in December and eight concerts in April and May. They also performed their third annual benefit concert at the Performing Arts Center.
This year’s recipient for all monies collected went to Holy Redeemer Jersey Shore Food Pantry. All attendees were very generous with donations of non-perishable goods — boxes were sent back to the food pantry. The group thanked all who supported them this past year.
Angelus Chorus will resume its rehearsal schedule on Monday, Sept. 13, at 7 p.m. in the music room at the Middle Township High School. They are always looking for new members to join. Those who are interested or want more information, should call Carolyn at 609-898-0324.
