Alice’s Curious Adventures Slated at PAC Center

By Sponsored Content

COURT HOUSE — Twenty-one local children, ranging in age between six and 14 have been busy rehearsing their lines for Roseheart Productions “Alice’s Curious Adventures in Wonderland.”
The original script takes the traditional storyline from Lewis Carroll’s timeless tale, and gives it a facelift, adding nine contemporary songs that will have everyone in the audience wanting to jump up in their seats, and join in the fun.
The play opens with the Tweedle Brothers stealing Alice’s beloved teddy bear, but it’s nothing more than a rouse to lure her down the rabbit hole and into wonderland. Alice’s adventure leads her to meet the quirky characters we’ve all become so familiar with, and climaxes with the Queen of Hearts crazy croquet game and mock trial. But audience beware, the Queen of Diamonds shows up uninvited and in a very foul mood.
All performances will be held at the Middle Township Performing Arts Center Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. and August 31st at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children and seniors. Matinee tickets are $8 for all seats.
Call the Performing Arts box office 609- 463-1924 for more information and directions. Parking is free
