WILDWOOD – Take a step back in time Friday, May 13 through Sunday, May 15 during the 6th Annual Sensational ‘60s Weekend presented by the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce.
The three-day celebration of the Wildwoods’ role as the Birthplace of Rock ‘n Roll Music will be filled with fun and entertainment for the entire family. The weekend’s festivities kick-off Friday, May 13, from 7-11 p.m., with the Sensational ‘60s Dance Party in the Oceanfront Arena at the Wildwoods Convention Center. Hosted by “The Geator with the Heater” Jerry Blavat, this groovin’ dance party will feature hits from the ‘60s that are sure to bring back fond memories from “back in the day.” Tickets for the Friday night Sensational ‘60s Dance Party are $13 per person.
The fun continues on Saturday, May 14, with the FREE Sensational ‘60s Street Fair from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Fox Park, located directly across the street from the Wildwoods Convention Center. The Street Fair will feature FREE live entertainment all day long, food vendors, a classic car show, a Doo Wop bus tour, fun contests and much more!
The weekend heats up Saturday night at 7 p.m. with a Sensational ‘60s Concert in the Oceanfront Arena at the Wildwoods Convention Center starring ‘60s musical legends The Spinners, Righteous Brothers’ Bill Medley, and The Contours featuring Sylvester Potts. Tickets for the star-studded Sensational ‘60s Concert are $49.50 per person for stadium seating and $65 per person for floor seating.
The excitement continues on Sunday, May 15 from noon-3 p.m. at Fox Park with FREE live entertainment and fun contests.
