CAPE MAY — Ahoy Matey! The adventurous Captain Kidd has set sail for Historic Cape May in hopes of arriving July 20, 2014 for the 51st Annual Cape May Captain Kidd Treasure Hunt to be held on the beaches of the nation’s oldest seashore resort.
Youngsters are invited to rendezvous with Captain Will Kidd on the Cape May Promenade, at Cape May Convention Hall, on July 20 at 1 p.m. Lucky treasure seekers will follow Captain Kidd to the secret site between Perry and Congress Street beaches in search of the elusive buried treasure.
