In life we are fortunate if we find people who are willing to share their time, talent, skills, and enthusiasm with others.
The Rutgers Cooperative Extension – 4-H Youth Development Program thrives in Cape May County because of the many people who are willing to show an interest in youth and dedicate themselves to making our world a better place for the coming generations.
The many activities, projects, and opportunities that you will find described in this newspaper are made possible by people who care. As time and life passes we lose people that we cherish, who are a part of our efforts and who have worked to make a difference by enriching the lives of others.
• James Coover, Longtime 4-H Volunteer and Leader of the Pitchforks and Buckets 4-H Livestock Club.
• Michelle Schuler, Leader of the 4-H Cloverbuds 4-H Club.
They were all an important part of the Rutgers Cooperative Extension 4-H Youth Development Program here in Cape May County.
While they were with us they took the time and energy, which is so precious to all of us, to help other people grow, to encourage things to improve, and to work toward progress.
We, in the Rutgers Cooperative Extension – 4-H Youth Development Program, want to remind everyone of the importance of the contributions made by these people and express our sincere appreciation for the precious time that they shared with us so freely to help others.
The Circle Of Life
Fear not that which is now,
Fear not that which is to come.
Life, Death, and Being are as one,
It is a circle. There is no
beginning and no end.
For that which is the beginning
is the end of the other.
And that which is the end
Is the beginning of the other.
Surely the lessons of Nature are
the wisdom of life.
Those that live in the knowledge
Of what the circle truly is
Have peace beyond measure.
