Learn What It’s Like to Live with Dementia with an Immersive Local Event

What: An immersive event that creates empathy and understanding for dementia victims

When: Wednesday, March 6, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Where: Lower Township Library

Come to a “Dementia Live Experience” at the Lower Township Library to better understand the intense challenges that come with this neurological impairment. Dementia Live® is a high-impact, dementia simulation experience that immerses participants into life with dementia, resulting in a deeper understanding of what it’s like to live with cognitive impairment and sensory change. A community liaison with Visiting Angels, will present the event.

Volunteer to experience what it’s like to have dementia. Special glasses, gloves, and headphones are used to mimic the confusion of dementia.
