What: A presentation about getting involved with the foster care system and what local advocates are doing to help
When: Saturday, October 12 at 9 a.m.
Where: Tabernacle UMC, 702 Seashore Rd, Lower Township
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children of Atlantic, Cape May, and Camden Counties and its trained volunteers will speak on behalf of abused and neglected children in the foster care system. They are dedicated to ensuring these children are placed in safe permanent homes as quickly as possible. Come to this event to learn how you can get involved.
