LAING, MARIE
It's with a heavy heart that I share the passing of Marie Laing, of Townbank, who left us on Friday, September 6th, 2024 at the age of 68.
Marie was born in Philadelphia to the late Charlotte and Forrest Laing and was a longtime resident of Townbank, moving there in 1979. She loved spending time with her grandson, Gavin, her neighbors and friends and especially loved spending time with her dog Kylie and watching the sunsets.
Marie is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Andrew Butkocy, her daughters Gina Bronson (Eric) and Amanda Shouldice (Michael), her grandson Gavin Bronson, her brothers Michael Laing (Karen), Christopher Laing, Gregory Laing (Amy) and all her nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers Forrest Laing and David Laing.
Family and friends are invited to attend viewing and service for Marie Laing on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Evoy's Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204. Viewing will begin at 1pm followed by a service at 2pm. Memories and condolences can be shared at

THOMPSON, DAVID R. David Radcliffe Thompson, 89, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 3, 2024. David was born on May 17, 1935 in Elizabeth, N.J., to Harold and Lisbeth (Winkler) Thompson. David graduated from Dayton Regional High School in Springfield, N.J.
