KINDLE, WILLIAM J. William J. Kindle, 70, Marco Island Fl, formerly of Cape May Court House, entered into eternal rest Friday, February 9 at Arden Courts of Naples with his wife Dona by his side. Born August 24, 1953, in Atlantic City, he was the son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Lilliston) Kindle. After graduating from Florida Atlantic University, Bill joined his father and began working at the family car dealership which is now Kindle Auto Plaza. He helped many during his career as a car dealer and made a positive impact on our local community. Bill was a generous and loving person. He found joy in the simplest of things. He had a soft spot for animals and was a caring husband, father, and grandfather. A pilot for most of his life, Bill donated many hours to Angel Flight, an organization that provides flights to those in need of medical attention. He enjoyed the sport of Rowing and competed annually in several open water races including The Around the Island Row. An Alumni of the Wildwood Beach Patrol, he was an avid supporter of the South Jersey Lifeguard Races. Bill was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a longtime member on the Board of the Marine Mammal Stranding Center, Brigantine. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son William T. "Billy" Kindle (May 12, 2001). Bill will be missed by many, but no one will miss him more than his wife Dona Leider; daughter Elizabeth wife of Robert Haines; son Steven Kindle husband of Jamie; and daughter Lauren wife of Brian Herron. Bill's legacy will carry on with those who called him Pop, his grandchildren Robert and Alexandra Haines, Hawk and Scout Herron, and new grandbaby Kindle who will be here in July. He will also be missed by his Kindle Auto co-workers, his friends both in New Jersey and Florida and so many others whose lives he impacted. The family would prefer contributions be made to the Marine Mammal Stranding Center, 3625 Atlantic Brigantine Blvd. PO Box 773, Brigantine NJ 08203. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects Friday, February 16th from 10AM until Noon at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May NJ.
