KENNEDY, KATHERINE R.
Katherine “Kathy” R. Kennedy, RN, passed away on 09/05/2024 at her home in Cape May. She and her husband John moved to Cape May from Astoria, New York in 1993. Kathy was predeceased by her husband John in 2021, and their daughter Kerri Ann in 2017. She leaves behind her eldest daughter Karen, her sons John and William, and her daughter-in-law Laura. She was blessed with seven grandchildren: John (Madelyn), Jenny-Anne (Carlos), Kristen (Carlos), Caitlin, Kerry Ann (Kory), Meghan (Colin), and Heather. Affectionately known as GiGi, she was delighted with her six great grandchildren: Violet, Eliza, CJ, Mina, Owen, and Knorris. As a registered nurse, Kathy specialized in labor and delivery while in NY. After moving to Cape May, she became a proud member of the Same Day surgery team at Burdette Tomlin, now Cooper University Hospital. She was also an avid reader and a frequent patron of the Cape May City library. Her family will be receiving visitors on Friday, 09/13 at Spilker Funeral Home, from 3-7 PM, and again on Saturday, 09/14 from 9-9:30 AM. A Mass of Chrisitan burial will be offered at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Cape May at 10 AM. Interment will be private and at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory to The Cape May Fire Dept, The Cape May City Library, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

VIETH, WOLF RANDOLPH Wolf Randolph Vieth passed peacefully away on December 10, 2024.
