KELLER, KATHLEEN

KELLER, KATHLEEN
One of Kathleen Keller's favorite pastimes was reading obituaries. We can feel her watching over us right now saying, “You better get this right.” So here goes….
Whether you knew her as Kathleen, Kathy, Kath, Kass, KK, or simply Keller, she had a way of pulling you in close (literally). Kathleen thrived on being in the know, being everyone's go-to gal for advice, gossip, and a heck of a good time. Life certainly wasn't without obstacles, but Kathleen was unstoppable in the pursuit of happiness. She was a force of nature that threw epic theme parties that required everyone to be all in. If you were a friend, it was for life as Kathleen's loyalty was boundless. Ever the Philly girl at heart, Cape May was ultimately her home over the past 45 years and her true love. Kathleen knew every street, home price, business owner, happy hour, and free event by heart. We were devastated when Kathleen died unexpectedly at the age of 75, but understood she had hit the church bingo jackpot recently and couldn't bear to see her beloved Big Lots store close. We can't deny that her life was without a doubt, full.
Kathleen left behind an army that adored her. There is not enough ink in the printer to name all of the friends that surrounded her. But family was first for her; Kathleen was predeceased by her parents, Daniel and Mary, as well as her sister, Dolores. She was a doting sister to her younger siblings: Daniel (Judy), Edward (Linda), Theresa (Gary), Noreen (Ronald), and Michael. Kathleen has seven nieces and nephews and seven cousins as well, each believing to be the favorite. But her son, William “Bill” (Lauren) was her world until she realized grandkids are actually even better. Nothing made Grandmom prouder than her Chad and Claire.
We aren't ready to say goodbye, but we will celebrate Kathleen Keller's life in a funeral mass at Cape May's Our Lady Star of the Sea Church on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 2PM (visitation beginning at 1PM). And if you can't attend her mass, Kathleen will rest in peace knowing you read her obituary.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathleen's memory can be made to the Clete Cannone Lifeguard Scholarship fund and sent to 1307 Trenton Ave., Cape May, NJ 08204.
Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May has been entrusted with arrangements. Please visit EvoyFuneralHome.com to share a memory of Kathy.
