Indictments Filed July 16, 2024

Readers are reminded that not only are all individuals listed below presumed innocent unless proven guilty, there may also be multiple individuals who share the same name, even in the same town.

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up seven indictments July 16. 

The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.  

Amanda M. Jackson and Sidney B. Gary were jointly named in a 13-count indictment. The two are facing five counts of possession with intent to distribute, two of which are in the second degree and three in the third degree. The drugs involved were cocaine, bromazolam, methamphetamine and fentanyl. They are also named in five counts of third-degree possession of a CDS for the same substances. The two face a second-degree count for conspiracy and a fourth-degree count for possession with intent to distribute drug paraphernalia. Gary alone is named in the final count for third-degree money laundering.

William Osborn was indicted on three third-degree counts of possession of a CDS, the substances being alprazolam, hydrocodone and amphetamine.

Lucia M. Sanchez faces two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child related to an incident in Wildwood in June.

Thomas X. Hennessy was indicted on a single count of possession of a CDS in the third degree, the substance being buprenorphine.

Isaac Williams was indicted on three counts, two of which were resisting arrest and aggravated assault on a police officer. The final count was obstruction of the administration of law in the fourth degree.

Ryan M. Wilson was named in a three-count indictment, with two counts for possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, one in the third degree and one in the fourth degree. One weapon was a .50-caliber pistol. The other was described in the indictment as an imitation firearm. The final count against Wilson was unlawful possession of a weapon, the pistol, in the fourth degree.

Donald E. Aungst was indicted on a second-degree count for unlawful possession of a weapon, a .22-caliber handgun. He also faces a fourth-degree count for possession of hollow-point bullets.
