Readers are reminded that not only are all individuals listed below presumed innocent unless proven guilty, there may also be multiple individuals who share the same name, even in the same town.

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up six indictments March 18. 

The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.  

Robert M. Sullivan faces a single count of third-degree possession of a CDS, methamphetamine.

Michael Affet was indicted on two second-degree weapons counts, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose. The weapon was a Taurus 38 special handgun. The indictment also contained a third-degree count for criminal mischief for causing damage in excess of $2,000.

Jorge A. Reyes was named in a single count for third-degree theft in Wildwood in January.

Shelly M. Dey faces four fourth-degree counts, with one for aggravated assault on an Ocean City police officer and three counts for throwing bodily fluids.

Seth Purta was indicted on two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

Miguel B. Hernandez and Missael Miguel-Hernandez were indicted on one count each of third-degree possession of a CDS, cocaine.
