Indictments Filed Feb. 6

Readers are reminded that not only are all individuals listed below presumed innocent unless proven guilty, but there may also be multiple individuals who share the same name, even in the same town.

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 13 indictments Feb. 6. 

The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance. 

A “certain person” charge can be brought against individuals whose previous convictions bar them from having weapons. 

Christopher Vesper was named in a four-count indictment for third-degree possession of a CDS, methamphetamine, and third-degree possession of a CDS with intent to distribute. He also faces a second-degree count for possession of a weapon during the commission of certain CDS crimes and fourth-degree intent to distribute drug paraphernalia.

Parker Curtis faces a single-count indictment for third-degree shoplifting in Middle Township in January.

Raul Ruiz was indicted for second-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, spring-fired gun, along with unlawful possession of a weapon in the third degree and fourth-degree prohibited weapon, metal knuckles.

Thomas Werner faces a single-count indictment for second-degree aggravated assault against a victim whose relationship meets the definition of domestic violence.

Seaver Sittineri was named in a four-count indictment for possession of a CDS, marijuana, and possession with intent to distribute, both counts third degree. The indictment contained two fourth-degree counts, both for possession of a prohibited weapon, a machete and a tomahawk.

Louis Denicolais was indicted on a single count of making terroristic threats to kill another person. The count was in the third degree.

Mario Gigliotti faces a third-degree count for burglary, along with a fourth-degree count for theft.

Juan Vidal-Salinas was indicted on five counts, including first-degree attempted murder. There was a second-degree count for aggravated assault and a third-degree count for possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, a knife. The remaining two counts were in the fourth degree for unlawful possession of a weapon and obstructing the administration of law.

Robert J. Edwards was indicted on a single fourth-degree count of criminal trespass related to an incident in Ocean City in November.

Kenneth Lopez faces an eight-count indictment, including first-degree kidnapping. The indictment contains three counts for aggravated assault in the third degree, a third-degree count for possession of a CDS, fentanyl, and a third-degree count for possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, a knife. Two fourth-degree charges are for unlawful possession of a weapon and certain person. That final count stems from a conviction in 2016 for possession of a CDS.

Krystyna Cebula faces a single count of fourth-degree aggravated assault on a Cape May City police officer.

Manford Ridgeway was indicted on two counts of third-degree aggravated assault.

Kanye-Dmetriuz M. Crawley faces four third-degree counts for making terroristic threats, criminal restraint, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, a knife, and endangering the welfare of a child.
