Indictments Filed Dec. 12

Readers are reminded that not only are all individuals listed below presumed innocent unless proven guilty, but there may also be multiple individuals who share the same name, even in the same town.

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 14 indictments Dec. 12. 

The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.  

A “certain person” charge can be brought against individuals whose previous convictions bar them from having weapons. 

Alfred W. Mason faces a second-degree count for eluding police in a motor vehicle on Oct. 24 in Wildwood.

James K. Williams was indicted for possession of a CDS in the third degree. The drug in question was methamphetamine.

Francis S. Mikulak was named in a three-count indictment, with each count for possession of a prohibited weapon in the fourth degree. In each count the prohibited weapons were large-capacity magazines.

Ernest M. Giordano was indicted for making terroristic threats and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, a baseball bat. A third count was in the fourth degree for unlawful possession of a weapon.

Bryan Bowman faces two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child related to an incident in Middle Township in September.

Barbara A. Cerasi was indicted for third-degree shoplifting in Middle Township in October.

Marianna A. Blaylock was named in a three-count indictment for aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, both third degree, as well as a fourth-degree count for unlawful possession of a weapon, a serrated kitchen knife.

Clinton Pettit faces a second-degree count for aggravated assault related to an incident in Woodbine in September.

Twyenika Y. Clegg was indicted on a single count of fourth-degree shoplifting in Middle Township in October.

Matthew H. Wolferman faces two counts of endangering the welfare of a child in the second degree.

Vitaly McCloskey was indicted on two counts of fourth-degree certain person. McCloskey was convicted of burglary in March of this year in Somerset County. In both counts the weapon was a knife.

Michael Payne was named in two third-degree counts for burglary and theft in Lower Township in November.

Dymere P. Rappa was indicted for aggravated assault on a police officer and resisting arrest, both counts third degree. Rappa also faces a fourth-degree count for criminal trespass.

Kevin Sparks was indicted on two third-degree counts for aggravated assault and resisting arrest.
