HOLLISH, JOSEPH F.

HOLLISH, JOSEPH F. Joseph Francis Hollish, a beloved family man, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2023, at the age of 77, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on May 10, 1946, in Philadelphia, PA, Joseph dedicated his early years to serving his country as a proud member of the United States Coast Guard from 1965 to 1968. After his service, Joseph made the beautiful coastal town of Del Haven, NJ, his home for over 40 years, where he lived a life full of love, friendship, and kindness. He leaves behind a rich legacy, including his devoted wife of 55 years, Natalie Hollish, his loving children Joseph Hollish, Jr. (Katherine), Dawn Trainor (Mike), and Jennifer Spaulding (Barry), and his sisters Marie McBrien and Justine Killen. Joseph's joy was multiplied with the arrival of his nine grandchildren, Lisa (Amrit), Brian (Hayley), Dillon, Barry, Joey, Michael, Madison, Christina, and Maria, and his four great-grandchildren, Brielle, Oliver, Bennett, and Nico, alongside many nieces and nephews who adored him. He was predeceased by his parents Lewis Albert Hollish and Eleanor Matilda Weber Hollish. Joseph's passion for life was evident in his hobbies, which included building and collecting trains, and exploring with his metal detector. However, his happiest moments were spent creating memories with his grandchildren, each of whom inherited his loving and friendly spirit. Joseph's kindness touched all who knew him, and his memory will continue to inspire and guide us. He will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Cape May Court House. Memorial donations may be made to the Mesothelioma Research Foundation of America, 3011 Townsgate Rd, Suite 450, Westlake Village, CA 91361. Condolences at www.radzieta.com
