HOFFNAGLE, ROBERT C. Robert C. Hoffnagle, 94, Lower Township, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, September 27 at Atlantic City Medical Center. Born October 29, 1928 in the family home in West Wildwood, he was the son of the late Leroy and Esther Virginia (Leahy) Hoffnagle. He was a 1947 graduate of Wildwood High School and served in the US Army. He was a volunteer fire fighter, Eagle Scout, and Boy Scout Leader. Robert was known as a member of the Hoffnagle Clown Family and later the Hoffnagle Family Fun Band. He and his wife Shirley owned and operated the Ali-Bi motel in North Wildwood and also the Hoffnagle Carpet Cleaning Services. Robert is survived by his wife of 62 years Shirley (Kiesel); son Charles (Kim), daughter Robin, and twin son Scott; and 8 grand-children. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a twin son Ross. Funeral services and interment will be held at a later date.
