HOFFMAN, JOSEPH C.

HOFFMAN, JOSEPH C. Joseph C. Hoffman, 88, of Willow Valley Communities, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024. Born in Chester, PA, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Vogel) Hoffman. He was the loving husband of Ann (Denkin) Hoffman with whom he shared over 32 years of marriage. Joe graduated from Chester High School in 1954, West Chester University with a BS in Music Education in 1958 and a Master's degree from Temple University in 1962. During his 35-year tenure at Ridley School District, he taught instrumental music, directed marching band, stage band, and played saxophone and clarinet professionally. After his retirement in 1995, he enjoyed playing keyboard, fishing, golfing, being active in Avalon Lions' Club International and St. Brendan the Navigator Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Nancy Berger, Jennifer Johnston, Jeffrey Hoffman, Joe Hoffman; 14 grand-children; stepsons Alan Noznesky and Douglas Noznesky.
