HINDLEY, WILBUR T.
Wilbur Thomas “Bill” Hindley, 95, entered into eternal rest peacefully Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at his residence with his family by his side.
Born September 5, 1928 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Marcellus and Evelyn (Schafer) Hindley. He served in the United States Airforce as an Airman First Class during the Korean War from 1951 to 1955. He retired from the Reading Railroad where he worked as a conductor.
Bill met his late wife, the former Emma Kreiger Dutton, while a driver for Community Transit in Delaware County, PA. The two married in 1997 and relocated to North Cape May where he was a member of the Cape May Beach Property Owners, Cape May Coin Collectors Club, Elks, VFW and the Villas Fishing Club. He was also a member of the VFW Post 777 in Philadelphia. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter Joan Margaret, brother Mark, sisters Hazel and Bernice, and wife Joyce.
Bill is survived by a son Thomas Hindley (Jean); daughter Laurie Morrissey (Daniel); 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother Albert “Jack” Hindley.
Funeral Services will be held 11:30 AM Monday, August 5th at Evoy Funeral Home 3218 Bayshore Road North Cape May NJ. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment with military honors will be held on the grounds of Cold Spring Cemetery 780 Seashore Road Cape May NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cape May County Animal Shelter 110 Shelter Road Cape May Court House NJ 08210.

LANOCE, JR. VALENTINO JOSEPH Valentino Joseph Lanoce, Jr, age 92 of Jensen Beach, Florida and Wildwood, New Jersey passed away on December 30, 2024, at his home in Jensen Beach, Florida. Valentino was born on October 2, 1932, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Valentino Lanoce, Sr. and Antoinette (Secreta) Lanoce.
