GRAHAM, JR. VERNON S.
Vernon Smith Graham Jr. 94, passed away on June 22, 2024, in Kissimmee, Florida. Born on February 8, 1930, in Bridgeton, New Jersey to Vernon S Graham Sr. and Marie (Ritter). He had been a Cape May County resident since 1971 before moving to Polk County (Solivita), Florida in 2016.
Vernon graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1948. He worked for FW Woolworth after high school, then enlisted in the US Air Force and was Honorably Discharged in December 1954. In April 1955 he began a 33 year career with the New Jersey Bell Telephone Co and retired as an Assistant Manager in the Construction Department. He then worked for Burke Motor Group for 8 years.
Vernon was a past President and Director of the Mid Jersey Cape Rotary Club. He enjoyed working on his home and yard, sailing, fishing and was an excellent carpenter. He was able to fix most anything and would help anyone in need. He owned several vintage cars and loved going to car shows. Both he and his wife Barbara were volunteers at Cape Regional Medical Center and members of the Trinity United Methodist Church in South Dennis, NJ for many years.
He is survived by his sons Gary (Kay) and David of Kissimmee, Florida, grandson Michael (Jennifer), great granddaughters Michaela and Kylie of South Dennis, and goddaughter Anette Manno (Sam) of Quinton, NJ. Vernon was predeceased by the love of his life Barbara (nee Lee) on June 26, 2011. They were high school sweet-hearts and had been married for 60 years.
There will be a private graveside service at the convenience of the family by his request.
LANOCE, JR. VALENTINO JOSEPH Valentino Joseph Lanoce, Jr, age 92 of Jensen Beach, Florida and Wildwood, New Jersey passed away on December 30, 2024, at his home in Jensen Beach, Florida. Valentino was born on October 2, 1932, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Valentino Lanoce, Sr. and Antoinette (Secreta) Lanoce.
