GIRGAN, DEBORA

GIRGAN, DEBORA Debora Girgan, a cherished soul known for her unwavering kindness and creativity, left our world on February 3rd, 2024. She was born on May 7th, 1946, in Wilmington, DE, and welcomed her sunset years in Colorado Springs, CO. Debora's life was a tapestry of dedication to her family, faith, and joy in the simple pleasures of life. She is survived by her loving children Lisa McCormick (Ted), Glen Girgan, Rachel Girgan, Dan Girgan (Jennifer), and Anna Girgan. Debora was a beacon of love to her grandchildren Abby McCormick (Matthew), Joshua McCormick, Micah Girgan, Raven Girgan, and Danny Girgan, Jr. Her heart forever holds the memories of her beloved husband Rod Girgan and her sons Shaun Girgan and Asher Girgan, all of whom predeceased her, along with her parents Gilbert and Mary McVeigh Garrison. For many years, Debora was a familiar face to the community in Cape May County, before moving to Dallas TX with her daughter Anna. She cherished her time as a hard worker at TJ Maxx, where she made numerous lasting and diverse friendships. Her passion for life was noticeable in her love for family gatherings and the sharing of her faith. Debora was a safe space for many, and proved time and time again that she possessed unconditional love for others, a testament to her love for Jesus. Remembered as a faith-filled, creative, and kind woman, Debora's legacy is one of warmth, generosity, and incredible enduring strength. She loved her family more than life itself and her presence here on earth will continue to be greatly missed. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Head of the River Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ.
