GALLAGHER, EILEEN M. Eileen M Gallagher, 71, formerly of Media, PA, living in Princeton, NJ, lost her battle with lung cancer on 10/31/23. Eileen was an adventurous person. There wasn't a mountain she didn't climb or a trail she didn't hike. It was her love for Horticulture that took her to Longwood Gardens for classes. Eventually she ended up at Pennsylvania Horticulture Society for 33 years as Coordinator of Community Gardens Program. She was involved with many of the beautiful flower shows in Philadelphia. Eileen is predeceased by her loving parents Elizabeth (Betty) Gallagher and Joseph (Joe) Gallagher of Avalon, and her brother Timothy (Tim) Gallagher. She will be forever missed by her sisters Kathy (Roger) Garchinsky, Maureen (Bill) Colanzi, and brother Chris (Kathy) Gallagher, Patty Gallagher, Mary (Sean) Keating and Terry (George) Boyer, and many nieces and nephews: Paul, Trisha, Tommy, Sarah, Steven, Lauren, Andrew and Timmy. Eileen is also survived by her life partner Roberto who we thank for taking such good care of her till the end. She was one-of-a-kind and no words can express the loss our family feels at this time. There was a small private ceremony. Eileen asks that you donate to Pennsylvania Horticulture Society in her name to beautify the gardens in Philadelphia.
