NICHOLAS J., III
Nicholas J. Franzen III, (Moran), 82, of Wildwood Crest, NJ,.where he.was a resident for 25 years, formerely of Philadelphia, PA. Nicholas was born in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia and grew up in Mayfair.
He was a veteran of the U.S Army during the Vietnam Era. Nicholas was a former writer for the Star Newspaper. His column “Moran's Best Bet” was in the entertainment section of the paper.
He is survived by his son Nicholas J. Franzen, IV, of Ashburn, VA, two grandchildren, Nicholas J. Franzen, V, and Madeline Franzen, also of Ashburn, VA and Puppy Too.
