FLEMMING, CLEOPATRA BOTTIGLIERI
Cleopatra (Pat) Bottiglieri Flemming, 89 of Erma, passed away June 14, 2024, peacefully at home with her niece, Dawn, by her side. She was predeceased by her parents Constantino and Angelina Bottiglieri, husband Gene Flemming, sisters Mary Lillemon and Roma and her husband Andy Bonavoglia, nephew Charles Lillemon, nieces Cora Lillemon, and Linda and husband John Winters, and her beloved dog Farley.
She is survived by nephews William and his wife Sue Lillemon, and Gus and his wife Phylis Bottiglieri, her niece Sandy and her husband Bob Gorney, and niece Dawn Lovenick, along with many great-nieces & nephews.
Born, raised and married in Wildwood, she worked at Spatz Pharmacy over 30 years, then at Barry's Men's Clothing and the Klothes Kove on the Washington Street Mall in Cape May.
Pat enjoyed going to the Point and watching the sunset, and going out to different restaurants. She loved shopping, especially for shoes and pocketbooks. Pat was an avid reader and she had hundreds of books. She had a thing for anything to do with owls, and loved being outside in her garden among all her angel statues.
Many thanks to her friends Carol and Roy, and her “BFF” Norma, who was especially there for her during these last years, as well as to her niece Dawn, who took very good care of her this past month. Thanks to her little buddy Chase, who brought in her mail and would sit and chat; she got a kick out of watching him play with her dog, Farley. Thanks, also, to her nephew, Sean, who has been taking care of her personal affairs.
We love and miss you,
may you rest in peace.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her name to the animal shelter of your choice.
A memorial will be held at Evoy Funeral Home on July 31, 2024 at 1:30 PM.
Interment will be private.
