FLAMPORIS, PHOTINI ASPASIA Photini Aspasia Flamporis, (Fofo), 94, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 with her loving family by her side. Born in Mytilene, Lesvos, Greece to the late Aristides and Marianthe (Kapsimalli) Koukoulis, Fofo worked as a secretary in Mytilene City Hall for several years, then married and immigrated to Reading, PA, where she raised two children, participated in church choir and St. Xenia Ladies' Philoptohos Society. She delved into everything artistic: painting, arts and crafts of all kinds, writing and reciting Greek poetry, writing and performing comic skits, singing beautifully, gracefully leading traditional Greek line dances, cooking the most amazing Greek meals, and hosting the most wonderful parties. Her greatest joy was spending time with family at Wildwood Crest, NJ, bouncing around the ocean waves with her grandchildren, and watching them grow into wonderful caring adults. Photini is survived by her husband of 65 years, Demetrios Flamporis; brother Giorgos Koukoulis (wife-Despina), Athens, Greece; son, Stavros Flamporis (wife-Robin); daughter, Maria Damore (husband-Tony); grandchildren: Juliana Flamporis, Melissa Flamporis, Christina Flamporis, Olivia Damore, James Damore; and great-granddaughter, Moxie Flamporis. She is predeceased by grandson, Benjamin Flamporis and sisters: Stratoula Gerne, Maria Tsakiris, and Aleka English. Funeral services on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM from Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1001 E. Wyomissing Blvd., Reading, PA 19611. Fr. Theodore Petrides, Proistamenos and Fr. Constantine Alexandrides officiating.
