EMBODY, ANNE ELIZABETH Anne passed peacefully from this earth on August 4, 2023 after a brief stay in hospice at her home in Savannah, Georgia. Born and raised in Pottstown, PA, Anne attended Stevens College in Columbia, MO, where she graduated with an Associates Degree in their Aviation Program. She returned to Pottstown and worked for Firestone (Plastics Division) and ultimately served as Executive Secretary to Mr. Roger Firestone. After retiring from Firestone, Anne moved to Stone Harbor, NJ where she began a second career as a supervisor in the Tax Collectors office and married Bob "Jigger" Embody. They relocated to Savannah, GA in 2005 to be closer to family. One of Anne's proudest accomplishments was being an early pilot, following in her father Paul's footsteps. She first flew solo at 16, and got her pilot's license at age 17. She was a savvy businesswoman, and was also known to be a crack bridge player. Friends and family will remember her adventurous and independent spirit and fun-loving attitude towards life, as well as for being a sensitive and kind spirit. The younger among us will remember our "Aunt Anne" for her warmth, kindness and generosity. We shall miss you, Anne. Anne was "Mom" to a series of dogs whom she loved dearly. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to to your local SPCA.
TIPPING, ELIZABETH O. Elizabeth O. Tipping passed away on December 10, 2024. Beth was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph V. Tipping, Jr. in 2022, and is survived by her faithful companion, “Murphy.” She was a graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School in Philadelphia and Penn State in
