DUNLEVY, JOANN
(née Grispino) 1961—2024
Joann Dunlevy of South Dennis, NJ passed away on Tuesday September 17th, 2024. Beloved daughter of the late Louis and Laura Grispino, also predeceased by her brothers Charlie Grispino, Gregory Grispino, and her loving husband Michael Dunlevy (2021). She is survived by her two loving children Dean and Kelsey Dunlevy, son in law Kyle Krause, loving brother Louis Grispino, niece Christine McGeever, nephew Louis Grispino, and her most precious grandson Finnegan Michael Krause.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Joann moved to southern New Jersey at a young age and spent many years working as a server at the Deauville Inn and then Mildred's in Strathmere. Many of her customers and coworkers became like family to her and remained lifelong friends, whom she cherished deeply. Joann's later years were spent nursing her beloved husband's chronic illnesses and providing selflessly for her family. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, going on car rides with her son and husband all over South Jersey, sitting with her friends at the Sea Isle VFW, and annual family camping trips. She loved nothing more on this earth, however, than baby-sitting and reading to her grandson. Her greatest talent and strength in life was being a grandmother and loving her children.
Please join us to celebrate the wonderful life of Joann on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Visitation from 1:30 to 3:00 PM with her Memorial Service beginning at 3:00 PM. Interment will be private.
