DOWE, MINNIE K. Minnie K. Dowe was on born of January 30th, 1964 and died peacefully the morning of Sunday, January 28th, 2024. In between those years, she experienced all life had to offer. She was a proud graduate of Wildwood High School. Worked as a housekeeper for 13 years for the LaMer in Cape May and continued to clean privately after her time there. As with all great mothers, she was promoted to grandmother in 2006 and dedicated her time to babysitting her grandchildren. She truly lived life to the fullest: family card nights, concerts, Super Bowl parties, cruises, casino trips, vacations to Vegas, Disney and her favorite spot Hawaii. She enjoyed watching her Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Phillies with every win and loss. She loved sunflowers, Minnie and Mickey Mouse, Dr. Pepper, Carousel horses, Ford Mustangs, but most of all her family. She loved unconditionally and was always in your corner fighting with you or for you. She was the glue that kept everyone together. She was survived by her devoted husband, Dennis Dowe; daughters, Alisa Erdman (Jan-Michael) and Shannon Righter (Donn); grandchildren, Amari, Stella, Charlize, Auguste and Evelyn; brothers and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death and greeted in Heaven by her parents, George and Clara Young; siblings, Carol (Chris) Voss, David (Sue) Young, and Theresa Young. Just two days shy of her 60th birthday, she will always be "forever Young". A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday February 3, 2024 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N. Cape May, NJ where relatives and friends will be received from 10 to 11 AM. Cremation will be private. Condolences will be received at www.evoyfhuneralhome.com
