DONOHUE, CHRISTINE A.
Christine A. Donohue, 84 of Sea Isle City, NJ passed away March 22, 2025. She was born in Philadelphia to the late Angelo and Jennie Crocco Sabatini and graduated West Catholic Girls High School in 1958. She worked as a Registered Nurse and lived in Overbrook, PA. She summered in her Sea Isle home since 1977 before moving permanently in 2000. Christine was proud to be involved with the Sea Isle Tourist Commission and working in the Beach Tag Office. She was instrumental with starting the local Mahjong Club. Christine also enjoyed playing Hand and Foot, but more than anything was proud of being a grandmother and great grandmother.
Christine is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gerald; daughters Christine Donohue and Karen Rodgers; brother Donald Sabatini; granddaughters Kathleen, Jennifer, and Ashley; and great granddaughters Madison and Natalie. Along with her parents, she is predeceased by brother Richard and son-in-law Paul Rodgers.
Services will be Friday, March 28, 2025 at St. Joseph Church, 43rd Street and Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243. Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Mass will begin at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be private. Donations may be made in Christine's name to Mike's Seafood Run/Walk for Autism at www.polarbearrunwalkforautism.com.
