DIERKES, OTTO H.
Otto Herman Dierkes, 92, of Avalon, NJ, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024. He was born in Union City, NJ to the late Otto H. and Anna Hess Dierkes. Prior to starting a career as a stockbroker at Legg Mason, he served in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid poker player.
Otto is survived by his wife of 60 years Nina Dierkes, his sons Rene (Vivian) Dierkes, Thomas (Lisa) Dierkes, and Glenn (Susan) Dierkes, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his grandson Antonio Dierkes.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Brendan the Navigator Parish Maris Stella Church, 50th Street and Dune Drive, Avalon, NJ, where viewing will begin at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cold Spring, NJ.
