DICKINSON, WILLIAM F. William "Bill" F. Dickinson, age 88 of Cape May passed away on Thursday August 3, 2023. He was born in Millville, NJ and resided in the Cape May area most of his life and had previously lived in Lewes, DE. He was the former owner-operator of Briarwood Mobile Home Park in Cape May Court House. Bill also had been a school bus driver mostly for Lower Cape May Schools and had worked as a groundskeeper for the Cape May-Lewes Ferry on the Delaware side. Bill served in the US Army from 1957-1959. He was an avid bowler which is where he met his wife Joan. Bill was a member of the Tabernacle United Methodist Church in Erma. He was preceded in death by his wife Joan (2012) and brother Ted. He is survived by two sons, Brian Dickinson and Barry (Jennie) Dickinson; three brothers, Robert Dickinson, Albert Dickinson and Richard Dickinson, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held for Bill at 2:00 PM on Thursday at the Evoy Funeral home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N. Cape May, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received from 1 to 2pm at the funeral home.
