DAVIS, ANTOINETTE

DAVIS (RAFFEO), ANTOINETTE Antoinette "Toni" (Raffeo) Davis, 83, of Lansdale passed away peacefully on Saturday September 30, 2023, at the Einstein Montgomery Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 17, 1940, in Norristown. She was the daughter of the late Joseph & Anne (Genuardi) Raffeo, and the loving wife of William G. Davis, Jr. Toni graduated Plymouth Whitemarsh High School in 1957 where she was a member of the Bridge Club, Bowling Club and the Town Crier Paper. Sociable and outgoing, Toni was remembered in her yearbook as being "Witty and happy, possessing a fine personality…" and did she ever. If you were fortunate to meet her, she was not easily forgotten! Toni attended Pierce College in Philadelphia and worked as an Executive Secretary at Volkswagen for over 15 years before starting a family. She later resumed her career with the Koons Steel Company and Packaging Films and Equipment until her retirement. Residing in Avalon, NJ, Toni volunteered at the Holy Redeemer Visiting Nurse Agency-Food Bank in Cape May County and the Senior Center in Avalon. Where, as a lifelong lover of games, she would hold court and actively recruit Mahjong, Bridge and Canasta players. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Toni loved a noisy house where she was the mother of Four Boys and pseudo mother to countless others. Her house had an open-door policy and she loved visitors. One thing she did not love was socks or shoes, Toni was always barefoot inside or outside and those feet got a lot of use – you never saw her sitting… sitting was boring and she did not like boring either. She was known by many names; Antoinette, Toni, Chick-a-Dee, Crazy Lady, Mrs. D, Mimi, ManMa, Aunt Pretty but her favorite was Mom. In addition to her loving husband Bill, Mom is survived by her four boys, Billy (wife Kim), Craig (wife Dianna), Mike (wife Heather), and Drew Davis; Her sister, Joanne Pauley (husband John); Her 8 Grandchildren, Katherine, Bill IV, Makayla, Brooke, Trevor, Ainsley, Holden, Sean and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents. Family and friends are invited to attend the services for Antoinette on Monday October 9, 2023 at the Holy Savior Church, 407 E. Main St. Norristown PA, 19401. The viewing will take place from 8:30AM -10:45AM and Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. The Burial will take place at St. Patrick's Cemetery, 2400 DeKalb Pike, Norristown PA 19401. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Abramson Cancer Center, 3400 Civic Center Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19104, or St. Jude's Children's Research Foundation, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN, 38105.
