Crest Cougars Honored for Undefeated Season

WILDWOOD CREST – Board of Commissioners has honored the Crest Memorial School seventh and eighth grade boys basketball team on its unblemished winning record.

The team finished the season 25-0, including winning the Optimist Tournament, the Island Tournament and the Scoop Taylor Tip-Off Classic. The Cougars also won their division in the Atlantic Cape Junior High League.

Pictured with Mayor Don Cabrera, Deputy Mayor Joe Franco and Commissioner Joe Schiff are the players: Jarrett Banks, Owen Bannon, James Bradley, Sean Cunniff, Ryan Davenport, Crew Fuscellaro, Matthew Maher, Ben Pruszinski, Michael Sciarra, Levi Sheppard, Gary Troiano and Gabe Volpe.

They were coached by Jared DeGroff and Adrienne Ricci.
