Crest Borough Hall Hours to Change in 2024

Borough Hall on 6101 Pacific Ave in Wildwood Crest.

By Christopher South

WILDWOOD CREST – The doors of Wildwood Crest Borough Hall will open a half-hour earlier and close a half-hour earlier beginning in January 2024 once Ordinance 1410 goes into effect.

The ordinance, introduced Sept. 20, technically sets the work week for borough administrative employees, will set the operational hours at the Borough Hall at 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. The hours are currently 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Mayor Don Cabrera said the change in hours is in response to a larger number of people wanting to access Borough Hall earlier in the morning rather than later in the afternoon.

The ordinance also notes that the process of using timecards stamped by an electronic time clock would be replaced by electronically generated, time-stamped payroll sheets.
