UPDATE: Groundbreaking for Beautification Project at Veterans Cemetery Postponed

CREST HAVEN – The groundbreaking at the Gerald M. Thornton Veterans Cemetery beautification project scheduled for Thursday, March 7, has been postponed due to predicted weather concerns.  

The new date for the groundbreaking is Tuesday, March 12, at 1 pm at the Veterans Cemetery at 127 Crest Haven Road in Cape May Court House. The public is invited to join the Cape May County Board of County Commissioner’s for this groundbreaking ceremony for phase one entranceway improvements.

Phase one will encompass a series of landscaping improvements and will also include hardscape features including but not limited to new pathways, walkways, and seating areas to enhance accessibility and improve navigation to all sections of the cemetery.
