County Commissioner Pierson Recognized at His Final Meeting

CREST HAVEN – The Cape May County Board of County Commissioners recognized Vice-Director Jeffrey Pierson last week (Dec. 19, 2024) during his final Commissioner meeting. Pierson is retiring after over 40 years of public service. Pierson joined the Commissioner Board in 2016 and became Vice-Director this year (2023). He was presented with a plaque and was joined by his family at the meeting. His professional background is serving in the United States Army and New Jersey Army National Guard for 42 years retiring as a Brigadier General; six years as Undersheriff Correctional Division, Cape May County Sheriff’s Office; and within State Government in several positions within the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.
