WOODBINE — The officers of the Woodbine Volunteer Fire Department were announced at their recent annual installation dinner.
Officers were sworn in by Mayor William Pikolycky. State Senator Jeff Van Drew. Assemblymen Bob Andrzejczak and Bruce Land were also in attendance.
Line Officers are: Chief, Manuel Gonzalez.; Assistant Chief, Jose Santiago; Captain, Douglas Watkins ; Lieutenants, Joseph Schalek, Juan Rodriguez, Jimmy Gurdgiel, Clarence Ryan, and Ulysses Rodriguez ;Safety Officer, John Pikolycky.
Administrative Officers are: President, Juan Rodriguez; Vice President, Billy Baily ; Secretary, Jeanette Schalek; Assistant Secretary, Harry Ciabatoni; Treasurer, Joseph Schalek.
“I congratulate both the Administrative and Line Officers and thank the good senator and Assemblymen for presenting citations to our firefighters,” remarked Mayor Pikolycky. “We are pleased to be presenting them with an upgraded and renovated workplace as we complete the NJDCA-funded improvements to our historic firehouse.”
