WOODBINE – Mayor William Pikolycky is pleased to announce that the Woodbine Municipal Alliance quarterly meeting, to be held Tue., Nov. 15, 2011, at the Woodbine Elementary School library, 801 Webster Street, Woodbine, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. will include a training workshop.
This free training/workshop is offered to Municipal Alliance Committee members to provide them with the skills needed to help assess, develop and implement drug and alcohol prevention programs that are based on the needs of the Woodbine community. This will include: an overview of the current alcohol trends; new ways kids are disguising alcohol in the holiday season; community resources available to help. Light refreshments will be provided.
All adult members of the community are invited to attend this and all Alliance meetings.
