WILDWOOD — Local and state officials honored volunteers who served their community during the devastating aftermath of Winter Storm Jonas during recognition dinner at Wildwood’s American Legion Post 184.
Senator Jeff Van Drew (D 1st), Assemblymen Bob Andrzejczak (D 1st) and Assemblyman Bruce Land (D 1st) along with Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano Jr., Commissioner Pete Byron and Commissioner Tony Leonetti were on hand Thurs., March 10 to recognize the volunteers who helped organize and distribute free clothing, furniture, toys and personal items to those throughout Five Mile Island who were impacted by the Jan. storm.
In addition to individual honorees, officials recognized Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 955 as well as Byron Pennington Croker American Legion Post 184.
