Wildwood Historical Society Receives Award For Preserving History

WILDWOOD– The Wildwood Historical Society was recently selected to receive an Award of Recognition from the New Jersey Historical Commission for its service in gathering, preserving, and interpreting the history of the Wildwoods for the public.
Presenting the award was Dr. Joseph Salvatore, a former Wildwood resident. Pictured above are Phyllis Bethel, museum vice-president, Dr. Salvatore and Maryellen Shields, treasurer. The award was presented at Monmouth University in Long Branch, at the New Jersey Forum.
