WILDWOOD CREST – The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department hosted its sixth annual Trunk or Treat Halloween event Sun., Oct. 30 at the Crest Pier Recreation Center.
About 400 people attended the event.
Adults decorated the backs or their vehicles for Halloween and distributed candy to children, who were dressed in their Halloween costumes. The event also included a magic show, pumpkin painting, DJ entertainment and food.
Prizes were awarded for the five best-decorated vehicles, as judged by Crest Recreation staff. Winners included:
First place – Maria Medina, Wildwood
Second place – MacBride family, Wildwood Crest
Third place – Chris and Kellie Wood, Cape May Court House
Fourth place – Bonnie Wood, North Wildwood
Fifth place – Barbara Farrell, Wildwood Crest
