WILDWOOD CREST – The following results are from Wildwood Crest’s summer basketball program:
HIGH SCHOOL BOYS
FRIDAY, JULY 27
Victorian Gardens Landscaping 51, Crestfully Clean 45: Joey Andrew and Tommy Belansen each collected 16 points for VGL. Torey Harris sank 11 points and Cornell Bryant added eight points in the loss.
Alfe’s Restaurant 39, Casiello Construction 27: Devon Roach produced 13 points and Maximus Adams and David Durham chipped in six points apiece for Alfe’s. Dominick Troiano netted 11 points and Luke Cassidy contributed five in the loss.
Big Time Vending 56, Smitty’s Parking 26: Jimmy Kurtz accounted for 14 points and Patrick Moore sank nine points in the win. Smitty’s got 10 points from David Zarfati and nine points from Domenic DeMarco.
GRADES 6-8 BOYS
THURSDAY, JULY 26
Duffer’s Ice Cream 44, Original Hot Spot 40: Michael Hoey and Carter Short each posted 13 points for Duffer’s. Patrick McGuinn’s 10 points and Adam Dille’s eight points topped Hot Spot.
Cone Crazy 43, Dogtooth Bar & Grill 42: Jacob Bey erupted for 27 points and Macky Bonner added eight points for the winners. Archie Lawler tallied 25 points and Manny Weaver added six points in the loss.
Russo’s Market 34, Poppi’s Pizza 21: Michael Zarfati’s 10 points and Michael Cronin’s eight points topped a balanced attack for Russo’s. Junior Hans sank 12 points and Ryan Troiano chipped in six points in the loss.
GRADES 3-5 BOYS
THURSDAY, JULY 26
Hot Spot IV 41, Wawa Markets 40: Nathan Dwornik led all scorers with 22 points and Nolan Mahwhinney chipped in 10 points for Hot Spot. Chris Papageorgiou tallied 11 points and Nick Antonicello contributed eight points for Wawa.
Adventurer Oceanfront Motel 30, Domino’s Pizza 16: Ty Bonner had seven points and Trevor Troiano chipped in six points in the win. Domino’s received seven points from Luke Bachubinski and six points from Robert Andrews.
